GOOOOOOOOAL

So just like us, you probably cheer so loudly that the next city can hear you when your favourite team scores a goal. But when you cheer you probably don't thank the potatoes like we do. Why do we thank the potatoes? Well, because potatoes are a soccer player's best friend. They think of them as good luck charms because they're round like a soccer ball but not so perfectly round to represent that no soccer games are perfect and they will face troubles but that does not mean they should give up. Many soccer players keep potatoes in their rooms, some have it in with their equipment, those who have a harder time accessing potatoes have pictures of potatoes on their phones, and some even eat them before practices and the game (we highly recommend that you don't do this because even though you think you are becoming one with the potato, you're really just upsetting potatoes so they might decide to not help positively influence you to win the game). Unfortunately, there are also many soccer players that decide to practice by using potatoes as soccer balls, believing that if they use potatoes they will have an easier time playing with the soccer balls because potatoes are not perfectly shaped, making them more challenging and thus using soccer balls later on will be so easy. This makes the potatoes upset like when they are eaten. Please don't upset potatoes they're only trying to help. They don't deserve abuse.

And so that's why we thank the potatoes everytime our favourite team scores a GOOOOOOOAL.

Tell us who you want the potatoes to help win the World Cup through email, Twitter, or Tumblr!

what will potatoes be like in 100 years?

So you've all heard of the evolutionary theory right? Like the one by Charles Darwin? Anyway, we've been thinking...Do potatoes evolve over time just like what some people believe about humans? Do the potatoes right now look like how they once did 100 years ago? Will potatoes still look the same in 100 years? Will their taste change? Hopefully they don't because potatoes are perfect the way they are right now. They can't get any better...right? Well, it's not bad if they can get better, we would just be sad that the potato half of us isn't the best type of potato that there is. It's okay as long as potatoes do not get worse. We don't want anyone to be ashamed of potatoes ever. Hopefully there will still be a great variety of them and all will be equally lovable.

We found a picture of something that might help us answer all these potato questions. We need to find it first though.

We hope that this gets you thinking about potatoes because we can't stop thinking about potatoes and it's nice to question things every now and then.

We are extremely sorry for forgetting to post so often. It's just that we've been busy, busy potatoes.
